Tutor Hub is a platform that allows Private 1-on-1 Lessons with the option of choosing the tutor of your choice in different courses and also set your schedule to study from the comfort of your home.
About the problem
Pre-Covid the accessibility to good and quality teachers for students who have a burning desire to learn new skills was very low and also stressful to find. But after the lockdown, the desire for productivity has become an important thing in so many people’s lives.
Learning academic subjects wasn’t the only motivation behind Tutorhub but also to connect teachers from different artistic backgrounds to the young and adults learners who are interested in learning new skills such as painting, dancing, yoga, music, catering, and much more.
Moreover, lack of options was also a setback when it comes to learning new skills online because a structured way of learning was difficult to find
Understanding the user
At first, we thought acquiring new skills is something wanted by people of different ages ranging from age 10 to 40. User interviews were conducted with people aged 12 to 38.
From the interview, it was discovered that most people between the ages of 15 to 40 have a burning desire to learn one or more skills.
Data shows that newbies who don’t know much about the skill they want to learn or working class who are too busy to search for a tutor but want to invest in themselves need some kind of a platform which is accessible at home.
Via interviews with people from different backgrounds, We narrowed it down to the people aged from 18 to 35 are actually in need of a digital learning platform where they can hire a tutor for an online or physical class
some students below the age of 18 are bound by their parents’ will if they can pay for some particular service as their parents want their children to work hard on study most of the time.
Curating a solution
To fill the gap, we came up with a concept of an online platform TutorHub which helps you find a highly qualified tutor not just for academics but a bunch of other extracurricular skills too. where learning is fun, interactive, and satisfactory.
